On Sunday, December 17, Josh suffered an ischemic stroke. On the following Friday, they did a test on his heart and found he has an abscess on his aortic arch. The possibility of surgery on his heart has been mentioned as well as concern for another stroke or even heart attack. He was moved from U of M Health West (aka Metro Health) in Grand Rapids to Spectrum Health where they have a team of cardiologists to keep a close eye on him.
If you know my daughter, Britney, then you know how much she loves her husband, Josh. He's her best friend, her fuzzy face, her love. The medical bills will be piling up as well as the usual living expenses. We want to raise money so they can pay their usual bills as well as the medical bills that will be coming in. With him in the hospital and off work until further notice, this family will be needing help. Please consider offering help, if you can.
