The Chi Zeta Chapter of the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. was founded on April 6, 1974. It was the first Black Greek-lettered organization at Clemson University. For going on 50 years, the Chi Zeta Chapter of the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. has been a mainstay in the Clemson community and through the years continues to be a positive asset to the university. 

Beside every good Omega Man there is an even greater woman. Miss Mardi Gras participants are chosen to represent the men of Omega. We place high emphasis on friendship, academics, extracurricular activities, community service, fundraising, as well as articulation of thoughts. In this pageant everyone's a winner because you were chosen, all though a winner amongst the contestants will be selected based on the highest rank from the above-mentioned characteristics. Help these wonderful women by supporting them in this amazing experience!
