Basic Needs for People Seeking Asylum!
We would like to send Oral-B Basic Solution and Oral-B Kid’s 3+ Manual Bundle kits to people seeking asylum as they transition to life on this side of the border at the Mission: Border Hope Welcome Center.
The Oral-B Basic Solution kits, which can be found on Practicon, come with 1 toothbrush for adults, 1 travel-sized Crest Pro-Health Toothpaste and 3 floss picks. A case comes with 144 kits and costs $238.99 per case. Our goal is to send 5 cases, or 720 individual kits, for a total cost of $1,194.95 before tax and shipping (which is $18.99).
Additionally, we would like to send Oral-B Kid’s 3+ Manual Bundle. They come in a case of 72 travel-sized kits and each kit includes 1 Oral-B children's toothbrush, 1 travel-sized Kid’s Crest Toothpaste, and 3 floss picks. Our goal is to send 10 cases, or 720 individual kits, for a total cost of $1,159.90 before tax.
Therefore, our fundraising goal for supporting the oral health of the people we are serving is $2,373.84 (including shipping but before tax).
There has also been a request for jackets and men's clothing, therefore we would like to raise an additional $726 on clothing from Goodwill, making our total fundraising goal $3,100.
