As a Charity Partner in the NYC TD Five Boro Bike Tour, James Lenox House Association relies on this race as one of its fundraising sources. On Sunday, May 1, cyclists of all skill levels will come from around the world to roll through every borough of New York City on streets totally free of cars. For one day, the roads are yours, the bridges are yours, the City is yours—there’s no better way to experience NYC.
Over the past 2 years, we've had to adapt to the pandemic, while also safeguarding the lives of the most vulnerable population, older adults. We are proud that not one of our residents died of Covid-19! But, another challenge we faced has been funding. We are very grateful to Bike New York to be selected as a Charity Partner for the 2022 TD Five Boro Bike Tour! This parnership allows us the opportunity to have bikers represent our organization and raise the much-needed funds to continue providing safe and affordable housing and health-centric services for older adults in New York City!
