For the last 10 months I have had my son Liam due to his mother placing him with me. Suddenly Liam was taken from us by his mother who rarely saw Liam while in our care.

Since November 24th of last year my son Liam has been living with us due to his mother sending him to live with us. For the last 10 months our household are all that Liam has known. His mother rarely utilized her time to see him, only seeing him a total of 59 calendar days in the last 10 months. She vountilary placed Liam with us and voluntarily continued to keep Liam with us due to her living arrangements not being suitable for kids as she stated in her own words.
On October 4th that changed. She removed Liam from all he has known the last 10 months of his life. The reason you may ask? The Attorney General's office put a hold on the child support funds due to Liam living with us. This has created fear, sadness, & confusion with his step siblings in our household. I have been fighting like crazy through the legal process to get Liam back to where he has been. I was able to file paperwork with the court to initiate a court hearing on October 25th. With all the evidence I have I feel comfortable that we will prevail.
So far I have been acting as my own legal counsel due to financial issues. Such is the purpose of this fund raiser. I did not want to air all of this information in a public forum but currently am limited on options on what to do. So I come to my friends and family in an attempt to ask for help.
