Today was my treatment at the hospital. Had to go there 2 days in a row, saturday and sunday. Not a fun week-end I must say. I was a bit sad too. Please share my story or help with a few bucks. It will change my life. Thank you in advance.

Update on My Fundraiser: A Heartfelt Request for Your Support

Dear Friends and Supporters,

It's been a week since I launched my fundraiser, and while I am grateful for the support received so far, I'm still a long way from reaching my goal. Living with a rare neuropathy has not only been a physical and emotional struggle, but also a challenge in reaching out for help in the digital age.

I must confess, the world of social media is somewhat foreign to me. I don't have thousands of friends on Facebook or followers on Instagram. This journey of connecting with a wider audience is new and daunting. I've been trying, but with little success.

That's where I need your help. If you are unable to contribute financially, your support in sharing my story can make an immense difference. Your networks could help my plea reach the right ears, the kind hearts who might be willing to help.

Sharing my fundraiser link on your social media could be a turning point in my campaign. This act of kindness doesn't cost a thing, yet it has the potential to change my life profoundly.

Please help me spread the word. Your share could be the one that brings in the support I desperately need. I believe in the power of community and kindness, and I hope you can take a moment to help me navigate this challenge.

Thank you for your time, your generosity, and your willingness to share. Every little bit of help counts and brings me closer to a more stable, healthier life.

With heartfelt thanks,
Daniel

Update #2

In this new year eve, sad and all alone. I've found the courage to ask for help from kindhearted people. Please read my story. You are my only hope.

Hello, my name is Daniel, and I am reaching out to you during one of the most challenging periods of my life. For the past five years, I have been battling a mysterious illness that left me incapacitated, unable to work, and searching for answers. Two years ago, I was diagnosed with a rare neuropathy – a condition that affects my nervous system and prevents my muscles from functioning properly.

Despite this daunting diagnosis, I've been fighting to maintain a semblance of normalcy. My treatment requires me to visit the hospital every 3-4 weeks for a serum infusion, each session lasting about 3 hours. This treatment is vital for me to live a semi-normal life, but it also means I cannot hold a regular job due to the unpredictable nature of my condition.

To add to my difficulties, my wife of 14 years, who was my support system and partner in facing life's challenges, recently left me. Her departure has not only been emotionally devastating but has also put me in a precarious financial situation. I am now faced with the need to sell our shared home and find a new place to live, ideally close to the hospital for my ongoing treatments. However, with the mortgage not fully paid off and the proceeds to be split, I am deeply concerned about securing a new home.

At 54, with no family support (as they have sadly passed away) and limited financial resources, I find myself in a situation I never imagined – seeking help from kind-hearted strangers. My pride had kept me from asking for help until now, but I have reached a point where I need to reach out.

I am setting up this fundraiser with the hope that your contributions can help me:

Secure a new, accessible home near my treatment center.
Cover medical expenses and living costs during this transition.
Rebuild my life in these trying circumstances.
Every donation, no matter how small, brings me a step closer to stability and health. Your support means more than just financial assistance; it is a beacon of hope in my journey of healing and rebuilding.

Thank you for taking the time to read my story. Your kindness and generosity are immensely appreciated.

If you feel uncomfortable to just donate money, I've started an Etsy shop where you can buy some tees. That way you can help me and get something in return. They are all design by me and I use a POD company to print them and send them to you. Here is the link to it https://www.etsy.com/ca/shop/AtticArtsCo?ref=seller-platform-mcnav
