More than 500,000 children in the U.S. have vision challenges and out of every 1,000 - about 2-3 children are born with a detectable level of hearing loss in one or both ears. 

In 2019 Richard Rieman founded Imagination Videobooks to fill a gap that exists for 350,000 visual and hearing-impaired young children in the United States that cannot fully experience illustrated books.

It is our mission reinforce children’s core values, such as kindness and empowerment, through the creative forces of children’s book authors, illustrators, publishers, and narrators.
