More Info

Starting several years back, I began noticing that the chords were becoming harder to play.  My legs felt weak and my balance began to falter.  My neck MRI shows "severe" narrowing of the spinal canal, from C4 to C7.  A head trauma I had in 2019 may have contributed. Age-related wear-and-tear have definitely contributed.  Turns out, I have been experiencing slowly progressing symptoms that all stem from spinal cord compression.   I will be going in for Spinal Decompression surgery on Wednesday Sept 20th.  The surgeon only promises a halt to symptom progression, but recovering my balance and fine motor skills like guitar playing, will be largely up to me.So, I'm asking for any support you might be in a position to give, so I can focus on my rehab, but also be able to stay housed and put food on the table.  I have to say, my wife Casie has been incredible in keeping the ship asail. I love you Casie.  ❤️.  We are so grateful for our friends and family and feel blessed to have two healthy, growing children who are doing great.  Even if you're not in a position to lend any financial assistance, please drop a line and say hello!  Be well, Justin
