In 1st and 2nd grade Layla struggled greatly with reading, writing and comprehension. She had been stuck at a kindergarten level in her reading abilities. Despite having great teachers she couldn’t get ahead. Layla struggles mainly with her dyslexia in school, exhausting herself during the day just trying to grasp how they are teaching her.

Last year we found a great summer camp at a private school that specializes in teaching kids how to read with dyslexia designing an individualized learning plan and having a fun summer!

When she was tested on her reading level upon entering 3rd grade, surprisingly she had progressed so well due to her enrollment in Oakland summer camp, she was reading a whole grade level ahead!

I am hoping to continue her summer education  in this program as long as we can, because it WORKS for her so well and to help her succeed in school and not slip through the cracks.

If you can contribute to the other half of her tuition it would be greatly appreciated!

Check out the video above & you’ll be able to see her enjoying last summer
