Greetings everyone!

Never in a million years would I think, that I would be on a fundraising site for myself. Actually, for myself and my dog, Marley. Let me tell you about us( myself):

My name is Lisa Hairston. I am an Epileptic & newly(and properly) diagnosed ADHD recipient. small business owner in Cleveland, Ohio. I have a cleaning company and it's been difficult as any business would be. Yet, as one who has an invisible disability that affects our brains in so many different ways, makes it even more difficult and frustrating, especially when it's only you. I have fallen behind on rent and just received a 3-day notice. My landlord doesn't want to do it, but I understand, personal is personal and business is business. She will accept a portion. That's why I'm reaching out today.

I had a mental breakdown six months ago because the business wasn't going well, and bills and rent falling behind. . My mind went down the dark hole and if not for my dog, my baby, Marley, I wouldn't be writing this now! I'm still here! I'm still fighting because I know I can be successful! I just need some assistance which I'm close to finding but in the meantime, I have to make sure we have a roof over our head. It's just Marly and I.

My birthday is this month and to think we may be out here is a lot to bare. I'm not young anymore! I'm a seasoned 49+ woman! LOL! And frightened. I wanted my life to be a testimony of what God can do. I want to break the poverty line in my family. I want to support myself without having to go on disability. I don't think that's too much to ask for oneself, especially when you're taking steps everyday to try and make it possible. I've never given up even with all the tramatic events that have happened since I was little. It could be the althete in me. Lol!

As dog owners know, our dogs become family and the thought of having him out in the cold or worse the dog pound is a thought no dog owner would ever want. Yes, he could go out here in the streets but that's no life for him. I also know, no one is going to want him, not only because he's a pit but he will whine for me until he goes to sleep and wake up whining! LOL! As well, most places won't let you bring your pet much less a dog! I'm asking for your assistance. Now, I will be completely honest, 85-90% of whatever is raised will go to my landlord and 10-15% will go to hire an assistant. I know, if I hire, I'll never be in this predicament again and I'll be on the other side again, giving back! Thank You! for taking the time to read about my situation. If you decide to donate, I will make sure I will pass it on, even if it's just by hiring one person.

Peace & Blessings to all of you and your families! ---Mz Lisa
