Nell's Boston Marathon Fundraiser for Dana Farber

In 2024, I will join hundreds of Dana-Farber runners at the starting line to participate in the 128th Boston Marathon®. From Hopkinton to Boston, the Dana-Farber Marathon Challenge team runs and raises funds with thousands of loved ones in mind.

I will be running in memory of my uncle Jerry Walther who was treated at Dana Farber and participated in a clinical trial made possible by the research done by doctors through these funds.

One hundred percent of every dollar raised by the DFMC team supports the Claudia Adams Barr Program in Innovative Basic Cancer Research at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. The Barr Program is run solely on donations and fundraising, fueling some of today's most promising basic cancer research.
