About Me

My name is Nikki Wu (obviously) and I'm currently a junior at Del Norte High School. Since I've been a nighthawk (sounds cringey but bear with me), the music program has been a major part of my high school experience. Being able to go back to the band room and have that be a constant in my hectic every day life is something I hold near and dear to my heart. Unfortunately, our music program costs a lot of money to run and without donations from generous people like you, we wouldn't be able to have many things that we do such as coaching and school provided instruments. All it takes is a click-- any donation will help us improve our program and help us fix instruments and cases, as well as get new music to play each year. In just 9 short years of existence, the Del Norte Instrumental Music program has grown from 80 students to over 200, and we are projected to grow steadily for the next several years.

This year, we need to raise nearly $200,000 to support all of our performance ensembles including Orchestra, Color Guard, Marching Band, Wind Ensemble, Concert Band, Winter Percussion, and Jazz Bands.

We are asking our community, friends, alumni and extended families to help us reach our goal with a tax-deductible donation, so that our music program can continue to grow and prosper. With your support we can grow to accommodate more students every year who can discover their potential and thrive in this program and our community. No amount is too small because it will all add up to help us reach our goal!
