It's bittersweet to write this, as this is the last year we will be participating in Eden II/Genesis' annual Run/Walk for Autism. For the last several years, the Genesis School has been an invaluable support, asset, and friend to our family. Nastasia's growth while learning at the Genesis School cannot be overstated; their devotion and tireless advocacy on Nastasia's behalf has been inspirational. Their impact was highlighted most recently, as Nastasia was able to overcome a debilitating fear of hospitals, and had a needed procedure performed; this could not have happened without the Genesis School counseling us and working with us to desensitize her and prepare her for what was ultimately a successful procedure. As Nastasia completes her last year at Genesis, please, please consider helping a truly worthy institution, in particular in this time of difficulty, for both Nastasia and all the students they serve..
