Once In A Lifetime

Let us introduce you to the strongest willed wife, daughter, Gigi, sister, and aunt a person could be.  This is Monica.  In order for you to understand this statement we need to take you back to November of 1979 in Constantine Michigan.  Monica was 16 and was on her way to the mall.  She crested a hill not far from our home when a unlicened driver crossed the center line and hit her car head on!  From that moment on her life changed.  Monica had what they call a hangmans break.  Our parents were first told she may not make it throught the night, then that she wouldn't walk again or be able to have any children.  This is where the strong willed Monica came out.  She DID walk again, she DID have two amazingly strong boys, and now several grandchildren.  Monica has struggled in everyday life, things we take for granted.  But one thing you should know is that she NEVER asked for help!  Monica always dreamed about visiting Hawaii and this year our dad has made that dream a reality!   So now the rest of us are trying to help as well and possibly raise a few dollars for her to take with her and do the things she wants to do while she is there.
