I need help moving
Being on disability for renal failure makes it hard for me to live comfortably in Dallas, TX. I recently received a kidney transplant on June 4, 2021. I was just let go from my job of 4 years and it has been hard to find a new job based on my limitations of what I can make being on Disability.
It is too expensive to live in Dallas, being on Disability. I need to move back to Pittsburgh. I have had a lot of bad experiences since moving here to Dallas. It is hard to save enough money to move. My apartment complex fail to do repairs on my home and fail to reimburse me for the towing of my car. I have had to get Legal Hospice involved and yet my apartments and corporate office fail to get in touch with either myself or the lawyer to settle the towing issue. Furthermore they refuse to do repairs to my apartment until the towing issue has been settled. I filed a claim against them last month but it may take several months, up to a year, to finally plead my case before the judge. I was also advised by the Texas Tenant Union to send certified letter to the front office of my apartments detailing the need for repairs. If no repairs are made 7 days upon signing for the certified letter and receiving it I may again file a complaint but it may take up to a year for me to speak against my apartments before the judge.
I can't afford to live in Dallas; I need to move. I've missed family emergencies because I couldn't afford to travel back and forth. I need to be closer to family. The cost of living in Pittsburgh is more reasonable for me. I will be closer to family and able to actually save money for times when things need done without having to borrow from family and friends. Please help me.
