More Info

It's my 8th season as a member of San Francisco Track & Field Club. This sport has taken me all over the world - literally. I've been fortunate to compete in Masters-level meets in Canada, Germany, Belgium, as well as here in the Bay Area & throughout the U.S.

This summer I have a special opportunity of competing against an international field at the 2018 Gay Games in Paris, France! Ironically, the first Gay Games began in San Francisco in 1982 and continues with it's 10th quadrennial cycle - GG10. The event has grown to 12,000+ athletes competing in 34 different sports representing over 80 countries. Now at the tender age of 47, Paris is my 4th Games representing the good ol' U.S. of A. and the great cities of Oakland/San Francisco. I'm planning to compete in the sprint events, relays, and as many field events I can squeeze in over the course of 5 days (long & triple jump, pole vault & javelin).

My road to Paris began over a year ago in January of 2017 with a strength training program that continues today at Endgame Athletics/CrossFit EGA. My track practice sessions and field event training with SFT&FC continues until I leave for Paris at the end of July. You can follow my training & entire journey on IG @coach_evil.

Please help me offset the cost of such a big trip - including airfare, Airbnb, food, transportation & other training essentials. After the dust settles and the Games are complete, I'll have dedicated the last 2+ years to training & being as prepared as possible to compete at my absolute best.

Should you choose to donate today, I promise to continue putting in the work on & off the track to give my best effort in Paris. Thank you for reviewing my fundraising page and I appreciate your financial support!
