I am representing the USA in a prestigious softball tournament in The Netherlands(The Cup). I played in this tournament in January 2023 and I am going back in January 2024

I am currently a 17-year-old Senior at Lanphier High School in Springfield Illinois. I have played Softball for 6 years. 6 years with school ball and 5 years with travel ball. I have just been awarded the opportunity again to represent America in a prestigious softball tournament overseas. I will play in The Netherlands. I am very grateful for this opportunity. With this opportunity we are hoping to increase my exposure for college. My end goal is to have the opportunity to play college softball at a D1 or D2 school and maybe potentially with Team USA. I am planning on going to college for physical therapy and would love to play softball. We believe that by playing in this tournament I will have increased exposure.
I am a highly decorated Girl Scout (13years). I am in the top 10 of my class with a 4.93 GPA and have been inducted into National Honors Society. For Highschool Softball I made Academic All-Conference and Honorable Mention All-Conference 2 years in row. I made 2023 All-Conference and ended my Junior year Softball season with a batting average of .500 and an on base percentage of .578. I lead the conference in stolen bases with 21 stolen bases only caught stealing once.. To help make this opportunity a reality we are fundraising and looking for donations or Sponsorships at any level.
The Tournament is called The Cup Netherlands. This is a fast-pitch softball tournament on an international field against some of Europe’s most talented fast-pitch players representing the US!
I will gain friendships across the US and Europe with fellow passionate fast-pitch players with great attitudes. I will also learn new skills and tips from skilled coaches and staff and have a blast doing it all.
We will be selling t-shirts to help with expenses. The t-shirts will have the names and/or business name of donors on the back. We also will be putting all sponsors on a sign to hang on the fence at the Lanphier High School softball field. We are asking for you to help support Tamaih in this journey. Any donation amount, monetary or in-kind would be greatly appreciated.
