Over the past few months, I have been writing a book titled "Unfinished Soul", which is aimed at those who are incarcerated, detained, or imprisoned both physically and emotionally. My goal is to provide this book free of charge to all inmates in every prison and detention facility across Canada and then into the United States by working with prison ministry teams. This is a long-term project and many books will be needed to reach all institutions. Would you please prayerfully consider partnering with me in this worthy cause to set the captives free.

Unfortunately, I am presently in no position to afford the costs associated with the editing as well as the cover design/art, publishing and printing costs. Along with this endeavor are associated costs such as the building of a website, communication and travel related expenses across Canada and the US.

I also have a second book which is presently in revision titled “That Which You Fear”.

The following is a brief description of the contents of “Unfinished Soul”:

In Chapter One, under the heading "THE TRUTH ABOUT YOU," the reader is introduced to the daunting odds of survival faced from pre-conception to age twenty through the use of global statistical data. This brings into perspective that in relation to the odds the fact that the reader is alive and reading this book in itself is somewhat of a miracle. Based upon these staggering odds, and in an uncondescending manner, the reader is asked what they have done with their life so far.

Similarly, In Chapter Two, under the heading "CRIME IN PERSPECTIVE” the statistics reveal the great risk perpetrators take with their one and only life and freedom when committing crime. The book then recounts the stories of several well-known and famous individuals who chose a life of crime, were caught and served time, but eventually transformed their lives in a remarkable way, the reader is left with the suggestion that each and every one these persons all have one thing in common.

In Chapter Three, "THE UNFINISHED SOUL" the author explores the underlying causes of criminal behavior. Drawing on extensive global research, the author demonstrates how a troubled family life, characterized by absent or abusive fathers and a lack of nurturing, most often leads to a child's problematic behavior, rebelliousness, and destructive tendencies. The data spanning decades supports the idea that these adverse childhood experiences often result in a weak sense of self and diminished self-worth, making individuals more susceptible to negative influences. The author goes on to explain how inadequate parenting and a traumatic childhood hinders a child's decision-making abilities. Most telling of all is the mirror image of the booming divorce rate in America which runs parallel with the booming rate of incarceration, this placing the USA as number one global leader above ALL 3rd world countries for number of incarcerated against total population.

In Chapter Four, "THE POWER OF CHOICE" the author provides valuable insight into the power of mistakes and embracing them in a positive light due to the lessons they hold in the choices we make. The Author then provides further insight in the differences between wisdom and foolishness in guiding our everyday choices and how a poor or traumatic childhood can tend to rob a child of the opportunity to acquire wisdom.

In Chapter Five, "SPIRITUAL DYNAMICS”, The author then shares his own testimony, which includes a troubled upbringing marked by physical abuse, a broken home, drug and alcohol abuse, bipolar disorder, and schizophrenia. Then, through a miraculous encounter with Jesus, the author found complete freedom, peace, and access to God's wisdom. The author also reveals that the individuals mentioned at the beginning of the book all had similar encounters with Jesus and all like himself received a completed and fulfilled soul as God intended it to be.
