Winter Park Coyotes Mountain Bike Team

There's a pack of Coyotes on the loose in the Orlando area. . .with battle hardened instincts, deep-seated devotion to their pack and territory and a fierce, fierce hunger for success. Far from wild and destructive, these Coyotes channel their intense drive into disciplined practice, honing their skills in pursuit of personal excellence and achievement, and giving back to their community by preserving their natural habitat, the mountain bike trail. 

Beware, though! This rare and wily creature, like many wild animals, is vulnerable to forces of nature and the ravages of our harsh world. These creatures, though fierce, are not immune to deprivations and hardships. Our Coyotes need you! Please help preserve their natural habitat and provide for their well-being, lest this rarest of breeds go extinct!

As a parent, it has been my privilege to partner with the Winter Park Coyotes for the last four years. Unlike many youth athletic organizations, the National Interscholastic Cycling Association (or NICA) is devoted to developing individuals, not just athletes. NICA is guided by values of fun, inclusivity, equity, respect, and community. Every youth is empowered to be part of a thriving and engaged cycling community. We build strong minds, bodies, character, and communities through cycling. 

The Winter Park Coyotes are the sole NICA team in the greater Orlando area. We need your support so that we can continue to build strong minds, bodies, character and communities through cycling in Orlando's middle and high school aged boys and girls. Please partner with us as we encourage the next generation in these core values -- dedication to personal excellence, devotion to one's community, respect for individuals, and stewardship of our resources.
