In July, Ellie and I will be part of a medical mission in rural Zambia to provide healthcare to thousands of people who have no access to medical services. As a Physician Associate I will be providing healthcare alongside many other medical providers. My daughter and niece who are studying to be in the field of medicine will be volunteers and will learn more about the world and medicine than they ever thought possible. Funds raised will purchase all medicine, food, and clinic supplies, provide drinking water and meals to all healthcare recipients and families, and cover transportation and logistics for mission team members and over 100 Zambian volunteers. It costs approximately $5,000 for our travel and another $5,000 to purchase all supplies and services listed above. Please know that you are directly contributing to the heath and welfare of people in need who otherwise do not have these services.
