Thank you so much to everyone who chipped in to help Miss Eloise. We almost hit our goal of $800 and that is completely okay that we fell just $55 short of it. We're completely amazed and humbled by the generosity of our friends, family, and even total strangers. You've all helped SO SO much and someday when we can, we will absolutely pay it forward. One small update - Eloise finally tested negative for hookworm infection. This common issue of drug-resistant hookworms in greyhounds has plagued her since before we adopted her and we've been actively treating it since February of this year. But as of today, we received the news that her most recent fecal test was NEGATIVE!! We are thrilled that she's been getting some more positive medical news recently. Eloise had a recheck with her cardiologist yesterday to evaluate whether her pimobendan is helping....and it is!! We got some great news that her valve condition and function is looking better than it was which is EXCELLENT! Pimobendan can worsen stenosis and unfortunately her's was minimally worsened, but not enough to be concerned and stop the medication at this point. She's cleared to return in 6 months provided nothing else pops up in the meantime. :)

This is her remaining balance for now. Any excess funds we might receive will go into her own savings account to be used for future vet appointments, cardio rechecks, and/or her Pimobendan. Again, THANK YOU. This is a huge relief to my husband and I!

THANK YOU SO MUCH to everyone who has supported this!!!! I wanted to update that I have been able to nearly pay off her balance thanks to your kindness and generosity. My husband and I are deeply moved. Attached is a screen grab of her balance before money raised so far from this has been applied. I will post a second update showing the remaining balance as proof that your funds have 100% gone to her.
